son, sun

Son or son is a male offspring, child or adult--
I have a daughter, but I do not have a son.
Her son always remembered her on Mother's Day.

Sun or sun ( rhymes with son ) is the big ball of light in the sky in the daytime--
I wish the sun would come out. I'm tired of rain.
"Wait till the sun shines, Nellie"

Now that you know that, you can say--
"When my son was a baby I had to keep him out of the sun."

Note--"sunny" describes a cloudless or bright day--
The weather forecast for today said it would be sunny.
"Sonny" is what some people call their sons or grandsons--
Grandpa will help you with your homework, Sonny.
